Geneabloggers at Congress - Reflections

The dust has settled and Congress attendees have mostly made their ways home. I got home yesterday but, as the internet was down due to our renovations here I have not been able to blog. Mr GeniAus has just moved our modem back into the kitchen and reconnected us so I am taking a break from packing the cupboards to start a new compilation of posts. This list is comprised of posts our geneabloggers have written since Congress. I expect that this new list will grow as the geneabloggers recover from the whirlwind that was Congress.

You can see the pre Congress posts here and the posts from Congress here.  As the GeniAus blog is one that has been selected for permanent preservation in The National Library of Australia's Pandora Archive, the conversation around Congress 2015 should be accessible for quite some time.

And here are the latest posts.  Please let me know if I have omitted any.

Jill, Gosh I have not had time to write up my Congress followup posts. Came home to visitors already here and more coming tomorrow. Thanks for being so inclusive at the conference. Fran

Thanks Jill for providing us with this summary. Bloggers did well to write so much during Congress and so soon after.

Thanks for everything Jill - the Congress was a blast, the family survived my absence, and in my third day back at work I have actually cleared my 'Attention Victoria' box right to the bottom! Thanks so much for the summary - it is great to see what other bloggers have written.

Thanks everyone for your posts. As Victoria intimated they have added an extra dimension to our Congress experience.

And now we start looking ahead to Congress 2018 in Sydney and Congress 2021 in Brisbane. I hope everyone remembered to do the quick survey to help organisers of Congress 2018: www.congress2018.org.au.
